Staying on that path means enduring endless frustrations, disheartening setbacks, and at times, a life that throbs with pain. Words from the movie, The Princess Bride come to mind: Life IS pain, Your Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling you something. Jesus told us the greatest commandment was, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength (Mark 12:30). Jesus loves US with this same passionate, exclusive devotion, i.e. with a JEALOUS love.
